Now, Viber has released a desktop app for Windows and Mac, but you need to set up Viber on your mobile first. After entering your number in the desktop app and receiving an activation code via SMS, you can make voice calls, share content, and even video call (desktop to desktop). It's user-friendly and competes with Skype, but the challenge may be finding friends who use Viber since its popularity varies worldwide.
